Chiller system

Water is used as a cooling medium in the chiller air conditioners inside the place to be cooled, the water is cooled first as it passes through the evaporator, and then the cold water is pumped to heat exchangers inside the places to be cooled by special pumps،

Then the heat is exchanged between the cold water and the air of the place to be cooled by fans placed on these exchangers or by the so-called Air Handling Units (Air handling Unit)

Types of maintenance of chiller system

Chiller Units

• Cleaning and maintenance of the main and sub-power panels, reviewing their components and tightening the mounting screws
• Oil level detection with each piston
• Recording the readings of volts and amperes meters for each piston
• Checking, reviewing and recording the meter readings of the cooling circuits "OP-LP-A-P" as well as the temperature and water pressure at entry and exit
• Checking and following up the statement bottle for Freon liquid, detecting Freon moisture status
• Detect the cooling oil and change it if necessary
• Detection of cooling circuit filters (CORE DRIER)
• Ensure the flow of water inside the radiator and test the “FLOW sweet”
• UNIOADERS test run
• Testing the performance of the unit at the start of operation and at shutdown “PUMP DOWN”
• Thermal expansion and solenoid expansion, SOLENOID))thermal expansion and solenoid expansion
• Checking, measuring and recording the reading of volts, amperes and pressures meters
• Checking the ice water network, making water compensation, checking insulation, and making an analysis from an accredited laboratory
• Make the following tests for the control circuit:-

1. OIL PRESSURE CONTROL (OPO)
2. REFRIGERANT HIGH PRESSURE (HPC)
3. REFRIGERANT LOW PRESSURE (L.P.C.)
4. ANTIFREEZE WATER TEMP CONTROL (TCI)

• Checking the units in general and noticing the appearance of any leaks on the Freon pipe lines
• Inspection of connections and water network
• Checking condensation levels and taking readings

Water pumps: –

• Detection (engine amps-engine heat-chair heat-connectors)
• Inspect friction chairs and fillers and change them when necessary
• Checking connections, stability and balance of pumps
• Detection of flexible connections and ensuring their safety
• Ensuring the safety of the work of pressure meters
• Detection of expansion tank, water level, float and valves
• Testing the performance of all pulleys and connections, taking readings and vibrations
• Cleaning of electric motors

Air Handling Units “AHU, FCU”: –

• Operation of the control circuit, its detection and testing of the performance of the triple arrester Assembly
• Testing and cleaning of the drainage basin and drainage connections
• Lubrication and lubrication of friction chairs
• Detection of water locks
• Review of belt tension adjustment and balancing work “ALIGNMENT " of the tracks
• Motor detection (Ampere-engine heat-friction chair heat)
• Detection and control of belts and queues
• Detection of air filters (cleaning-washing-replacement)

• Checking the temperature and pressures of water entry and exit
